Appraisal Reports We Offer
Daggett Appraisals LLC provides two different Appraisal Reports consistent with the reporting guidelines of USPAP.
Standards 7 and 8 of USPAP requires an ECA deliver an Appraisal Report or a Restricted Appraisal Report.
The difference between the two Appraisal Reports is defined by the number of “intended users” who will be provided a copy of the Appraisal Report. A Restricted Appraisal Report is only issued for one “intended user” whereas an Appraisal Report is issued for multiple “intended users”.
In addition, we will discuss with you whether you require a site visit which requires a “host” or “manager” to provide the Appraiser with an in-person observation and information about each item of equipment that is to be valued.
The Client may also request a Desktop Appraisal whereby the Appraiser does not conduct an in-person observation of the equipment but relies on data and information provided by the Client or “host” or “manager”.
The U.S. Small Business Administration oftentimes requires an in-person observation regarding the equipment. Many times, Clients are in a time crunch and would like to lower the cost of the assignment fee. These topics will be discussed with you when we define the scope of the assignment.
When you call Daggett Appraisals LLC we will discuss the type of appraisal, scope of the assignment, intended users, purpose of the appraisal, type of property, and the levels of trade that is required.
The levels of trade the ECA will discuss with you are:
Fair Market Value (FMV)
Fair Market Value In Continued Use
Fair Market Value Installed
Orderly Liquidation Value (OLV)
Forced Liquidation Value (FLV)
